How to change your account password

To change your password, use the following link:

Don't like using links? Please follow the steps below:


1. In your web browser, go to office.com
2. Click over your account name at the bottom of the left navigation panel
3. Then select the "View account" option next to your account picture
4. Select the "Change password" option

5. Enter the current password and fill the new password boxes

6. Submit (If you get a "Success" message, you are good to go)

The new password must meet the minimum requirements outlined in our corporate policies, including:

1. It must be at least ten (10) characters long.
2. It must contain at least one character from the following groups of characters:
a. Uppercase letters (A-Z)
b. Lowercase letters (a-z)
c. Numbers (0-9)
d. Symbols (!@#$%^&*...)
3. It cannot match any of your previous 8 passwords.
4. You can change your password once every 24 hours.


If you have a Council cellphone, you will be prompted to update your password for any Microsoft apps installed.
